The steel rod is easy enough to push that even 2 week old chickens can do it with less to no effort at all.
AUTOMATED - This horizontal chicken waterer is designed to work like a water dispenser. It will release water only if the steel rod is triggered by the flocks and then shuts off whenever no bird is striking into it. All you need to do is refill the bucket/container whenever water is runs out. 5 gallon of water will be enough for a week or more depending on the number of flocks that you have on your poultry farm or coop.
DURABILITY - This poultry waterer nipples is made with top-of-the-line plastic and steel materials and are assembled thoroughly to make sure the quality is the best and that the product will last for many seasons.
EASY TO INSTALL - It is so easy and quick to setup this nipper drinker as all you need to do is drill a hole on your container and screw in the horizontal poultry nipples. The only thing you'll need for installing the watering nipples is an 11/32 drill bit. The nipple assembly screws right into your container, so additional tools will NOT be necessary.

We suggest 5 birds per nipple. Also the poultry should be reaching up so there is less wasted water as they don't have to twist their neck to drink. Placing the container up on cinder blocks will get it to a good working height.
Important - nipple drinkers require a low-pressure water source. If connecting to household water lines, a pressure regulator must be used.
