915 Generation TPA3255 Digital Class D HIFI Audio Power Amplifier Board

The TPA3255 is a high performance Class D power amplifier with Class D efficiency and capable of delivering true high-end sound quality. The device features an advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction (PurePath™ Ultra HD). This technology enables the device to maintain ultra-low distortion the entire audio frequency band while delivering sound quality.
The device operates in AD mode, can drive up to two 315W/4R loads and two 150W (unclipped power)/8R loads at a of 10%, and features a 2 VRMS analog input interface that supports interfacing with high-performance DACs (eg TI's PCM5242) seamlessly. In addition to audio performance, the TPA3255 combines high power efficiency with ultra-low power idle losses ( 2.5W).
This can be achieved with an 85mR MOSFET with an optimized gate driver scheme. Compared with discrete implementations, this scheme can significantly reduce idle losses.
