Poor quality glass pot

The glass pot does not live to the expectations. They should either remove the heater at the base or ship the product with a truly tempered heat resistant glass. Preferably, a switch for the heater would be helpful. If you buy it, just ensure that you don't place the glass back on the coffee maker until it has completely cooled down.
