Sometimes it over heats. Temperature can reach up to 65 degrees Celsius under heavy workload. But overall it's fine. It has no DRAM chip so the speed will vary when copying information. It's a entry level SSD and it's quite old model. There are newer models like the Lexar NM710 and Lexar NM20.
