How to rep the throttle body?

Remove air cleaner and duct hose with a screwdriver. Disconnect electrical connector on the MAF by pulling out the plug. Disconnect intake air temperature r in the air duct.Disconnect idle air control on the side of the throttle body by pulling the electrical connector. Disconnect the throttle position r opposite the throttle cable levers.Disconnect throttle cables by turning the throttle lever on the throttle body all the way open by hand and removing the now slackened cables from the throttle lever.Remove bolts running through the throttle body and into the intake manifold. Use ¼-inch drive socket and ratchet, lift the throttle body off the intake manifold. Protect the metal ket that is in between the throttle body and intake. This ket must be reused. Install new throttle body in re order.

Electrical Throttle Body Installation Note

After rep throttle body, the idle speed is usually high, unstable or engine fault light on.This is because car ECU stores the throttle s, and the newly installed throttle body s are inconsistent with the .Now you need to match throttle to the computer. The matching proce actually is to clear the memory of the ECU, and restart the s-learning.When there is no matching computer or the computer cannot match, you can use the following manual method to match.1. Disconnect negative pole of the battery line to eliminate the memory function of the ECU, and install it after 1 minute.2. Turn off ignition switch, unplug EFI and ETCS in the fuse box in engine compartment, and put it baafter 1 minute The above two methods are to eliminate the ECU's memory, if idle speed is still high, ECU can return to normal speed through 1-2 days of s-learning.
