1.Washing the with warm water and a small amount of soap so that soapy flavor would not be absorbed and transfer to your dough.
2.Then rinse it well with warm water and let it dry thoroughly before using.
The trick to not having the dough stick to the basket:
1.Use rice flour, which works much better than regular flour.
2.Use a 50/50 mix of AP flour and rice flour to prevent sticking.
3.If you do not want to use rice flour or do not have any, then use the washable linen cloth that comes with the basket to line the basket.
