Notes for alkaline batteries:
● Suggest not to charge usedup alkaline batteries. The alkaline batteries which are discharged to be le than 0.9v have probably been damaged and zinc inside have been used up. Strictly speaking, to charge alkaline batteries is a progre to activate them, not charge them really. The alkaline batteries which can’t be activated within given time and meanwhile will get heated during the charging proce can’t be used any more.
● The unit is more effective for the alkaline batteries which are used in high power consumption devices such as digital camera, toys of four-wheel drive cars, toys of electric cars etc(working current is over 300mA) and can activate them more times.
● As alkaline batteries have “inertial memory”, it’s better for the batteries activated by the unit to be used back in the devices.
● Please don’t use the unit to charge defective alkaline batteries or the alkaline batteries are long-time used in low power consumption devices such as e controllers and clocks etc.(working current is le than 200mA). It’s not recommend to use the unit to charge used-up alkaline batteries( zinc inside it has been used-up). ● Do not discharge the alkaline battery by over 500mA, otherwise will reduce battery life cycles * Alkaline rechargeable batteries have low self-discharge characteristics. New batteries must be used before being charged. The battery should be charged early and often and charged by a dedicated charger. Continuous use for too long can easily cause over-discharge. It will not reach a saturated voltage of 1.6V, but it can still be charged. It can not exceed 4 hours. It can recover about 1.5V. Do not let the battery overheat! The charged battery is allowed to stand for 30 minutes before being used or stored. Multle over-discharges will gradually lose the storage capacity of the battery. Over-charging will cause the battery temperature to rise, and the internal expansion and leakage will damage the battery! Notes for Rechargeable alkaline batteries: This type of rechargeable alkaline battery has the characteristics of alkaline battery discharge and Ni-MH battery rechargeability. Pay attention to the use: 1. Do not overdischarge to below 0.9V, batteries below 0.9V cannot be recharged to 1.5V. 2. Do not charge it with a non-alkaline battery charger, otherwise the battery will burst or leak during charging. 3. The battery can only be charged to about 1.4V at first, please continue to charge 2-3 times, it will be charged to 1.5V4.The criteria for deter whether the charger is working correctly are as follows:1) Put the battery in, the charging indicator should be red2) When the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator should be greenHow much power the battery can charge is related to the internal materials of the battery, it is not related to the charger.If the battery is over-discharged below 0.9V, the battery may only be charged from 1.2V to 1.4V, and it cannot be charged above 1.5V.In addition, the battery has a ring life.
