1. AD831 is a low distortion, wide dynamic range, single-chip mixer, suitable for RF-IF down conversion in HF and VHF receivers, second mixer in DMR base stations, DC-baseband conversion, and quadrature modulation And demodulation and frequency shift detection in ultrasound imaging and other applications
2. AD831 provides +24 dBm third-order point, which can achieve -10 dBm LO power consumption. It does not require high-power LO drivers, and there is no corresponding shielding and isolation problems. Therefore, compared with passive mixers, it can improve System performance, reduce system cost. .
3. The mixer is designed to be powered by a single power supply, and the RF, IF and LO ports have DC isolation capacitors for easy use. The operating frequency of the RF and LO inputs can be as high as 500MHz. The IF output is a single-ended voltage output. It has an output bandwidth of 250 MHz.
4. A single resistor connected between pins OUT and FB is used to set the gain. The amplifier has low DC offset characteristics, so it can be used for DC coupling applications such as DC-baseband frequency conversion and quadrature amplitude demodulation
