The seat occupancy mat is a r mounted in the front paenger seat.The emulator simulates a situation of a person sitting in the paenger seat with a seat belt fastened.To e the emulator work you need a tool (like for Autel, for , for iCarsoft etc.) to remove old errors of a broken seat mat that are stored in the aig control unit. Once you connect the emulator your tool will be able to remove old errors and turn off the SRS/aig warning. Unfortunately, the errors related to the safety syst are not removing automatically.Before purchase, please scan your car with a tool to e sure your SRS/aig warning is caused by a defective seat mat.These warnings can be turned on by at least 6 mounted in the seat.
