Fitment:

Designed for the Ford 8.8". Works on 1986-2014 Mustang 8.8" rear end.(Will not fit IFS front or IRS rear).Features:

(1)This ket is far better than the flimsy paper kets that normally find with rebuild kits. It has rubberized grooves which compre when torqued to spec, and create a strong seal, preventing gear oil from seeping out with time.(2)These kets are designed with a steel core that is rubber coated and have full perimeter elastomer beading on sides. Thus, the ket will not split or extrude during installation and has rior torque retention.(3)No need to me with RTV, just clean the mating surfaces, put the ket on and have it lined up right till all the holes lined. Then tightened the bolts per manufacturer specs. There is no set up time because installation is dry with no sealant needed.(4)Be sure to clean the differential cover and the sealing surface of the differential case before installing this ket. Use a good (clicker) torque wrench, and DO NOT tighten the cover bolts to more than 25 ft/lbs.(5)This beading will provide a dry, leak-free seal in a wide range of temperatures, power, or driving conditions.Package included:1pcsDifferential Cover ket (LLR-F880)
