The electric starter is a known weakne in your bike that requires to be inspected or cleaned every 20 hours or once per

year as set out in a service in. And the eential part is to rep the worn bushing made of Teflon that

wears quickly which could easily cause damage in your starting system (bendix and/or crown wheel) or engine casing.

* Some 2019 bikes have 2 bushing, others a bushing in the crankcase and standard (short) in the ignition cover.

This is why this kit includes two and one short in order to cover all options.

Note : When installing bronze bushings they should be a light pre fit in the engine case and cover. However, it’s

common that the stobushings n in the bushing bore and create wear, resulting in a loose fit. It is eential that new

bushings are held securely in p and some retention compound (Eg. Loctite 638, or 648) can be used. If the bushing

bore is badly damaged it should be repaired, or repd before installing new bushings.
