Description:

The TSL2591 luminosity sensor is an advanced digital light sensor, for use in a wide range of light situations.
This sensor is more precise, allowing for exact lux calculations and can be configured for different gain/timing ranges to detect light ranges from 188 up to 88,000 Lux on the fly.
The module has both an infrared sensor and a sensor that captures the entire spectrum. The diodes can be controlled separately so that the infrared component, the entire spectrum or the visible part can be measured.
The sensor is controlled by I2C. Since the sensor already has an integrated A/D converter, the sensor can also be used by a microcontroller that does not have an analog input,
The board has a voltage regulator and can work at a voltage of 3.3V-5.0V.
