The only requirement is that the old plastic one must be completely broken off and removed. When doing my own chair, a small part was still on the square rod when it broke, so I removed it with a pair of to crait off completely.The tole comes with plastic split bushings to put around the rod for the 3 metal supports near the clevis bracket.Material: metal + plasticColor as shownPackage Contents:1X Drive Tole AND Clevis Mount KitOnly the above package content, other products are not included.Note: Light reflection and different displays may cause the color of the item in the picture a little different from the real thing.
