This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool EL-50448.Also works on 2014 GM models

EL-50448 Tire Preure r TPMS Activation Tool OEC-T5

The tire preure r on models in & ar 2012 can be read, only with some specified tools.

Before tire preure ing system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire preure r; and the following methods to read the tire preure r ar replacing a tire or wheel speed r. Please refer to the specific methods as follows:

EL-50448 instructions:

EL50448 works on aleneral Motors (Buick, Cadillac, Cheolet, GMC) products manufactured for the North American market. It won't work if you've purchased armarket rs that are the wrong frequency.  EL50448 fit for G.M most kind of  vehicles, equped with a 315 or 433 MHz Tire Preure ing (TPM) system. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool EL-50448.

How to EL 50448 TPMS Activation Tool

Step 1 - Enter leaning mode

Set the gearshift lever to "P"

Put the ignition switch to “ON”

Enter the interface of tire preure display by DIC

DIC shows "Pre Set / Ctrl to re-learn"

Pre “Set / Ctrl”

The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode

Step 2 - Read tire preure r information

Start from the front-left wheel,

e the J-46079 or Tool EL-50448 up against the vae core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewall

El-50448 tire preure tool starts by the start switch

Succeful to read the tire preure r information when the horn bleeps once

Step 3 - Same method to read other tire preure information

Follow the instuction above to read tire puure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.

Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.

For certain vehicles equped with a Tire Preure ing (TPM) system, a "r Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed ar tire rotations, e Control Door LoReceiver Module repment or Tire Preure r repment. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool 50448

EL-50449for Ford Cars, in the repment tire preure r or tire preure alarm or exchange tires, need to carry out tire preure reset operation.

Operation Method:

1: Set the vehicle into the tire preure ining mode (plug the key, step on the parking brake, the car keys from the off to open 3 times, and then step on the parking brake, turn off the car keys, and then from the off to open three times; ining mode for the vehicle to start the state of the three consecutive dangerous alarm), if you hear the speaker sounded that the ining mode has been enabled;

2: Starting from the left front tire, the of the dedicated tool for tire preure ing is facing upwards against the tire sidewall near the rim of the vae stem to start the . Pre and release the start on and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the r information is read and the turn signal to be read at the position will light;

3: When the speaker is ringing and the right front turn signal light is on, the remaining three rs repeat step (2) in the following order: 3.1. Right before 3.2. Right rear 3.3.Left rear;

4: When the left rear r has been read and the speaker is also also twice, the read proce is completed and the body control module also exits the read mode.
