How to use the Probe of VDIAGTOOL V210?
The Short Circuit Finder is equipped with an adjustable 7" supple probe, providing flexibility to reach diffit areas.
This feature es this product a must-have for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.
The receiver's probe is constructed with ed steel and can be flexed as necessary to access wires in crowded or
challenging spaces. Depending on the circuit's characteristics and sensitivity set-tings, the probe will detect signals
from the wire in various positions. For optimal results, position the receiver's probe tip blacap perpendiar at
90 degrees to the wire g ced, either above or below it.
Locate Open Circuits
Open Wire instantly detects and alerts you to open circuits. Easily locate short circuits, broken wires, open connections, current leaks, and
ce wires. nsmitter and receiver LEDs indicate open or short circuit conditions.
This Automotive Short and Open Finder, car repair tool is designed to identify and ce wires or cables without dam the insulation. You can
also use it in checking for short circuit and locating open circuit and so on.
Auto circuit cer
Easy to use by just simply connect the nsmitter in series with the circuit or wire under test, i.e.: in p of a
blown fuse, across a connector, in series with an open wire, a light socket, etc., and scanning the circuit/wire
with the cers flexible probe to find the trouble spot.
Cable cking steps are as follows:
1.Dial the switch on the nsmitter to the "TONE" position.
2.Connect the blaclip of the nsmitter to the positive terminal of the car battery. Fuse sockets, connectors, etc.
are also ideal access points. Connect the red clip to the cable g cked.
3. Turn the sensitivity knob of the receiver clockwise to the middle position, hold down the "TEST" on, and move
the receiver close to the cable and athe line. At this time, an audio sound is emitted on the receiver, and the
cable is cked according to the sound of the receiver.
CheShort Circuits
Automotive Short Circuit Finder allows you to identify intermittent circuit probl by flexing wires or connectors and
listening for changes in the receiver tone. This automotive circuit finder with 6.7-inch flexible probe, It can helps
reach wires in congested ps.
Find Short-Circuit Cables steps are as follows:
1. Disconnect all loads and power sources from the d circuit.
2. Turn the nsmitter switch to the "CONT" position and connect the test wire to the d cable or wire. When the
line resistance is less than 10k s, the green indicator light of "CONT" will light up. When the entire load in the
d line is disconnected, the green light of "CONT" indicates that this pair of d cables may be short circuited.
Chethe Cable Break Point
1. Turn the switch on the nsmitter to the "TONE" position.
2. Connect the blaclip of the nsmitter to the ground cable. Fuse sockets, connectors, etc. are also ideal access
points. Connect the red clip to the cable g cked.
3, turn on the receiver and turn the sensitivity knob of the receiver clockwise in the middle position. Hold down the
"TEST" on and slowly sweep the receiver over the cable, , etc. When there is an even sound, it indicates
that the cable is normal. If the noise diminishes or stops, it indicates that the probe has swept through a damaged
cable, or that it has crossed a break, break, or damaged connection point in the circuit.
4, where the audio signal stops is the cable break point.
V210 Scope of Work
The car circuit cker is compatible with various circuits that operate between 6V and 42V DC, including cars,
trucks, ctors, ships RV, etc. The working voltage range is wide, suitable for various applications.
Tips:➤This auto electrical open & short finder tool comes with 2 PCS 9V Battery for the receiver and nsmitter. When thetool is not needed, please chethese 2 parts and let them in the OFF position to avoid draining the 9V battery power. ➤➤Cable identificationsteps are as follows: 1.
