This battery grip with a vertical-grip shutter-release button, Main command dial, Sub-command dial, AE-L/AF-L button, Vertical shutter with half-press function, 1/4" Tripod screw mount. to enable shooting in the same way as a horizontal grip.
It can be hold two EN-EL3e rechargeable Li-ion batteries, in addition to the camera's internal battery. Or six AA batteries, can be used instead for more convenience.
It will effectively extend your shooting time and enable shooting in the sane fashion as a horizontal grip.
