Free spool winch, and pull out approx. 2 feet of cable.3. Pull hairpin and release clevis pin from the winch hook.4. Remove the four bolts that fasten the two halves of the Split Hook Cable Stopper together.5. P the cable or rope between the two halves, insert the four bolts, then tighten.6. Re-attach hook to cable end.7. To stow the hook, grip clutch, and rect cable on winch spool until hook is snug against hook stopper and fairlead.8.
