Answer :If the Alaem is set and you open the door the Alarm will sound till you pre the on on the remote. It is LOUD trust me you will want to keep the remote close by.

Question :How can I set the alarm to go off? When I arm it and Open the door it just beeps. It doesn't set off an alarm

Answer :You have to pre the large circle at the top to set the alarm, the other 3 smaller ons are 1 to shut off, 2 not sure, 3 for bells.
