What should I do if the SSD heats up during data transfer?

This is normal, please stick silicon thermal pad and aluminum raditor to dissipate heat when installing SSD

What is the actual transfer speed?

Adopt RTL9210B chipset, the transmission speed can reach 6~10Gbps. But different devices, different SSDs and USB port will affect the actual transfer speed. If the transmission speed is slow obviously, please check whether the ssd is plugged in properly
