Its ok I guess
This product first smelled like strawberry and then bananas once I started straightening my hair. and soon all the fruit smell went away. so do not get surprised if you first smell a little fruity. My hair is has not been damaged by the heat from the blow drying or hair straightening. However it quickly revetred to its kinky nature. So for one day in a humid environment, its ok.
