The HP  8460p is a business notebook that comes with multimedia capabilities. The 14-inch hp Elitebook 8460p is powered by the 2-Gen Intel Core processor. It has Bang & Olufsen speakers for audio and can last for a day, according to the company.
Design

The hp probook 8460p has a full aluminum exterior with a minimalist silver finish which has HP's stylish slash logo. The laptop has a lightly engraved elitebook  logo on the hinge, and on the top of the lid is a gray line. The laptop has a backlit, island-style keyboard with a pointing stick. The power button is on the top left corner, and there is a triangle-pattern lid for the Bang & Olufsen speakers. It weighs 3.4 pounds and has dimensions of 12.8 x 9.2 x 0.7 inches. The laptop has a 14-inch display with a 1020 resolution.

Connectivity

The hp 8460p features several ports for connectivity. This includes a secure lock slot, one USB 3.0 with always-on charging and a Smart Card Reader on the left. While on the right, there is port with Thunderbolt, an RJ45 port, an HP UltraSlim dock connector,  one USB 3.0 port, a combo headphone/microphone jack, and a WWAN SIM card reader.
The hp  8460p comes with MIL-STD-810G certification, which the company states allow it to endure extreme humidity, extreme temperatures, vibration and high altitude.
The laptop comes with a Sure View privacy screen which can be activated by a simple click on one of the function keys. The laptop comes with Intel vPro for remote management and an IR camera to access Windows Hello.

Operating system

HP's Privacy Camera contains a slider that physically blocks the webcam's lens. There is a fingerprint reader underneath the rightmost arrow key. The laptop comes with HP's Sure Recover feature, an Endpoint Security Controller, and a self-healing BIOS. The hp  8460p lasts for approx. 4 hours and 31 minutes according to the company. The laptop runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

HP 8460p comes with a three-year warranty. The company is also offering CarPacks for Business customers which can be bought directly from the manufacturer.

HP probook  8460p is backed up by a 3 Cell li-Ion battery and is equipped with an in-built Fingerprint reader. For an enriched audio experience with crystal clear vocals, the device incorporates Bang & Olufsen Audio with dual speakers.
