6.53-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution. It has a water
drop-style notch, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 394ppi pixel density. The phone
has 400nits brightness and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it
against scratches. The smartphone is available in Carbon Gray, Sunset Purple,
and Ocean Green colours. It has dimensions of 163.3 x 77 x 9.1 mm and weighs
198 grams.

Camera

The Redmi 9 has a quad rear camera setup with a 13
MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 5 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP
depth sensor. The phone’s rear camera comes with features like kaleidoscope,
ultra-wide-angle mode, macro mode, and portrait mode.It has an 8 MP selfie
camera with f/2.0 aperture, and has features like palm shutter, portrait mode,
HDR, screen flash, self-timer, and more.

Performance

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80
octa-core 2 GHz processor, paired with Mali-G52 GPU and up to 4 GB of RAM. The
Redmi 9 supports AI Face Unlock, along with a rear fingerprint sensor for
security and easy access.  Sensors included are distance sensor, vibration
motor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and electronic compass. It runs on
Android based company’s proprietary MIUI.

Battery and Storage

It has a 5,020mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge 3.0
fast charging support. The smartphone ships with a 10W charger inside the box.
The phone is available in 32 GB and 64 GB of internal storage options which are
expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot.

9 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM
cards. The Redmi 9 measures 164.90 x 77.07 x 9.00mm (height x width x
thickness) and weighs 196.00 grams. It was launched in Carbon Black, Sporty
Orange, and Sky Blue colours.
