It provides Comfort-Fit protection, day and night.
The Tampax Cup has been designed with a gynaecologist and has a body-inspired shape designed to stay in place and reduce pressure on your bladder. It is supplied with a carry case to allow for convenient and hygienic storage of the Tampax Cup.
The Tampax Cup Heavy Flow is for tampons users who use super plus absorbencies.
Comes with a hygienic carry case
Between cycles, the BPA-free durable case keeps your cup clean and hygienic. And, it’s compact enough to take it with you wherever you go.
Trusted Tampax protection. Over 80 years of feminine hygiene know-how.
It is recommended that you choose the size of your Tampax Cup based on your flow and the tampon size you usually wear. If you use Lite, Regular or Super tampons (1-3 droplets tampons), try a Regular Flow cup. If you use Super Plus (4 or more droplets tampons), try a Heavy Flow cup.
How to insert the cup
Wash your hands before & after inserting or removing your cup. You'll need to fold the cup to make it smaller, for easier insertion. There are several ways to do this; the video above will show you the "C", "Seven", and "Punchdown" folds. For most people, it takes a few tries to get this right. So relax, take a deep breath, and take your time.
How to remove the cup
Wash your hands before & after inserting or removing your cup. The way to remove the cup is to release the seal of the cup. With clean hands, feel for the stem of the cup without pulling on it. Push the cup downwards using your abdominal muscles. (They're the muscles you feel tighten when you cough.) Pinch the base of the cup (not the stem) to release the seal and while pinching, pull the cup out. Removing the cup can take a few tries. It's important to know that the cup cannot get lost inside of you. Until you get the hang of how and when to empty, you may want to remove the cup in the shower.
How to clean the cup
Wash the cup every time you change it, as follows: dump the contents, rinse the cup with warm water, and wash it with a gentle, perfume-free, unscented soap and warm water. Rinse it again, then leave it to dry, or re-insert it right away.
Once every cycle, you should sanitise the cup by boiling it in water for five to eight minutes. Place it on a clean surface to cool, letting it dry thoroughly before placing it in the carry case.
